Tonight we had Virgil Kaine’s Robber Baron Rye Whiskey. First off, beautiful label art. I love a good description on the bottle too. We start off with almost a campfire, toasted oak on the nose. Then delve into candy caramels and heat with the first sip. Hints of honey, vanilla, and oak are certainly present, but I still go back to the candy caramel (think Werther’s Original).
